
Wincanton Town Council has welcomed the tabling of an Early Day Motion (EDM) in the House of Commons recognising its recent achievement in receiving the Bronze Award under the National Council Award Scheme.
The motion, introduced by Sarah Dyke Member of Parliament for Glastonbury and Somerton, congratulates the Town Council on the accomplishment and highlights the dedication of councillors and staff in demonstrating strong governance, transparency, community engagement and effective local leadership.
Mayor of Wincanton Town Council Cllr Ellard said:
