Wincanton Town Council owns, manages and administrates over 50 allotment plots at the allotment gardens in Moor Lane.

There are three sizes of allotment: Full size, half size and quarter size. These are allocated when a plot becomes available and there is currently a waiting list. Tenants are bound by an Allotment Tenancy Agreement which are renewed every year. Rents are payable annually and current rental fees range from £15 for a quarter plot to £50 for a full plot. Regular inspections are conducted throughout the year by Town Council staff to ensure that plots are properly cultivated and tenants are adhering to the Tenancy Agreement.
