Wincanton Town Council owns and manages three recreation grounds – Cale Park, Penn View and Coneygore.
Cale Park Recreation Ground
Cale Park is home to a Skatepark, Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and a Childrens Play Area. There is also a cricket pitch which is leased to Wincanton Cricket Club who have a pavilion on site. The Scouts have their own building at the top end of the recreation ground and the David Sharp Centre owned by the Town Council is leased and open as River Cale Cafe.
The Skatepark and MUGA are located left of the play area (access either from Southgate Road or through the play area at Cale Park).
Cale Park is easily accessible with a small car park and toilet on site.

Penn View Recreation Ground
Penn View Recreation Ground is located at Penn View, Bayford Hill and has a fenced off Children’s Play Area including a toddler area.
Coneygore
Coneygore is situated at the back of Carrington Way and is a wildlife and picnic area.
